Special thanks to Qiu, Yue for preparing and leading the workshop

Dear all,

Do you get grumpy, irritated or angry sometime? People may express anger in many different ways. Some people may express it by screaming, engaging in physical violence or showing other signs of rage and fury. Others may show it in less obvious ways—through bitterness, grumpiness, frustration, impatience, criticism, irritation, sarcasm, self-pity, depression or a cold silence. Regardless of how you express your anger, you know how destructive it can be. Your spouse, children, or friends may be afraid of you. People on the job may avoid you. Promotions may be denied. Your anger hurts others, but it also hurts you—spiritually and physically. You may feel powerless to overcome anger. However, you don't have to stay mad. This Friday evening, we will discover Bible-based insights together. With God's help and advice taken from the Bible, you can break free from the grip of anger and bitterness. Even more important, you will learn how to let God change your heart, so you are able to love others more and handle difficult situations with courtesy and wisdom.

Best,
Yue

James 1:19-20 This you know, my beloved brethren But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; For the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.

Romans 12:17-20 Never pay back evil for evil to anyone Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, " VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord. BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM, AND IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
